Nick is looking for his brown shoes. “Here is one,” he says. “Where is the other one?” Nick’s little puppy, Spot, is under the bed. He has Nick’s other shoe. “Wuff!” barks Spot.

　　Spot runs out of the room with the shoe in his mouth. “Come back with my shoe, Spot!” shouts Nick. Nick runs after Spot.

　　“You are naughty, Spot,” laughs Nick. “That’s my shoe. You are a take-away puppy.” Nick puts on his shoes.

　　One Saturday morning, Nick and his mom are getting ready to go shopping. Mom looks in the box for their shoes. “There are three shoes in here,” she says. “Where is my other shoe?” “Spot, the take-away puppy has it,” says Nick.

　　一個星期六的早晨，尼克和他的媽媽正準備去購物。媽媽在盒子里找他們的鞋子。“這里有三雙鞋，”她說。“我的另一只鞋呢?”尼克說:“小不點，外賣小狗那里有。”

　　Nick goes to look in Spot’s basket. “Mom! Here is your shoe!” shouts Nick. “Now we have four shoes.” Spot is waving his tail and looking at Nick. “Spot,” laughs Nick. “You are a funny take-away puppy.”

　　尼克去看小不點的籃子。“媽媽!這是你的鞋!“尼克喊道。“現(xiàn)在我們有四只鞋。小不點搖著尾巴看著尼克。“小不點”,尼克笑了。“你是一只有趣的外賣小狗。”
