　　自學指導 （一）

　　教師帶領學生先復習上節課學過的be的過去式用法，并要求背寫

　　Am, is------was are------were

　　教師提問，通過對話引出否定式：

　　T: Were you young then?

　　S1: Yes, I was.

　　T: Were you old then?

　　S1: No, I wasn’t.

　　進一步練習weren’t的用法，教師提示，反復變換主語人稱，讓學生在變換中掌握過去式的用法。

　　Was he fat then？

　　Were we happy yesterday? …

　　自學指導（二）

　　教師指導學生，檢查自讀課文情況，讓學生劃出帶有動詞be否定式的句子。

　　They weren’t old then.

　　She wasn’t tall then.

　　He wasn’t naughty then.

　　It wasn’t fat then.

　　提問程度較差的學生讀出這幾個句子，教師糾正并領讀幾個否定式的讀法，wasn’t, weren’t。

　　教師提示學生對照教材圖片，理解課文，教師講解課文，畫出四個要求背誦的句子。

　　They weren’t old then.

　　She wasn’t tall then.

　　He wasn’t naughty then.

　　It wasn’t fat then.

　　讓學生在教材上標注出這些句子，并加以背誦。

　　學生自由讀課文，同桌互相檢查：

　　教師點讀教材，學生跟讀課文。
