第七單元 語調(4小時)

　　語調是指說話時聲音的各種各樣的音調。即，指說話時聲音的高低變化。它與單詞讀音、重音、節奏、連續等個方面的內容都有緊密聯系。英語的詞調一般可以為六大類：平調，降調，升調，降升調，升降調，升降升調，它們的音高有升或降的變化，能夠表達各種態度，情緒，感情或言外之意。

　　平調：有高平調和低平調，它們的音高沒有變化，所以不表達任何感情。

　　降調：降調是英語中最常用的語調�；�本含義是表示肯定、完結、無禮、不容置疑、唐突的意味。

　　降調的特點是第一個重讀音節音調最高，以后的重讀音節一個比一個低，形成下降階梯。

　　升調：升調是英語中最常用的語調。升調包含有降升調，升降調，升降升調。他們的基本含義是表示疑問、客氣委婉、親切、關心語氣、溫和的責備。

　　升調的特點是從一個音節開始上升，形成上升階梯。
